Then during the offseason, they decided to completely flip the line from left to right. That's right, the projected starters going into training camp were from L t R was Bryan Bulaga, Josh Sitton, Evan Dietrich-Smith (so long, Saturday), TJ Lang, and Marshall Newhouse.
Unfortunately, we never got to fully see it come to fruition. Bryan Bulaga tore his ACL on August 3rd during training camp and was replaced by then 4th round rookie David Bakhtiari, and Marshall Newhouse got injured during the offseason and was replaced by 2nd year UDFA Don Barclay who went on to have an eight year NFL career.
How many times have you ever seen a team completely flip their OL like that, let alone flip the line and have it actually work out well?
