It takes a lot for me to give up on a player. Neal , Jones , Spriggs would be examples I would have fired up the pitchforks with some accelerant to go with the torches at the end of their tenures.
For me it’s the third year, unless they really step up and make plays by then get the lighter fluid for first two day picks.
To many players, coaches, GM’s all have said it’s three years to really get it.
I give rookies and some second year players a huge pass just because of the physical work they need to get to NFL strength levels, that in itself is a two year deal for me specially on the Lines.
Scheme changes , coaching changes , injury all play in that.
Not everyone is going to be a Pro Bowler or All Pro but you need solid players to fill your roster.
