I saw a study of professional athletes, and their peak performance statistically came when they were 27, 28, and 29 years old. When they had the combination of experience and athletic ability brought out their best.
Once they hit 30 the drop off was evident, for the most part. That does not mean there are those who excelled after 30, but the majority do not.
I was thinking with these packers they might just have a little bit larger window of excellence with them having drafted so many of these guys when they were only 20 years old and now they have more NFL experience than most 25 year old players do, so that maybe their peak can be a little longer than 3 years, maybe.
