With the drafting of Barryn Sorrell, Collin Oliver, UDFA's Jamon Johnson, Jonathan Baldwin, and Buggs Brown, FA Isaiah Simmons, with last years' Jevon Bullard and Kitan Oladapo, the defense is going to have a LOT of flexible, moving pieces.

Sorrell and Oliver give us a completely different set of skills on the edge with Oliver capable of off ball LB, along with Johnson, Brown, Simmons & Oladapo playing hybrid LB & S spots, it's going to be very interesting on how Hafley ties everything together.

Bullard, along with Hobbs, Baldwin, Nixon and maybe Simmons ability to play slot/CB on any given play, along with those mentioned above, it gives us more back end flexibility than I can ever recall us having.

If the front can improve in their second year under Hafley, and the additions of Brinson (whom I love) Stackhouse play out, this could be a formidable line/edge unit.

So much positional versatility - AND COMPETITION - has been added to the defensive unit. I can't wait watch Hafley play mad scientist with all three levels of their defense.
