My thought is that once again, we're going to be copying a scheme of the Pete Carroll's Seahawks, a similar one in terms of coverage but different one up front.
With drafting Bruce Irvin as a DE/OLB the Seahawks had a hybrid 4-3 where they basically had 3 DTs and 1 DE on the field, with an OLB acting as a wild card DE/OLB where they might rush or they might drop into coverage on any given play.
The Packers already have the DE/DT tweeners with Enagbare, Van Ness, Brooks and Wooden.
Before the draft, they might have lacked the DE/OLB tweeners, but Sorrell, Oliver and Simmons might fit those roles well. Plus, MAYBE that role might fit Mosby and Hopper well also. Mosby is basically a DE/LB tweener, and I honestly haven't seen Hooper enough, but supposedly he had an extremely high grade of blitzing from the OLB spot, being able to weave his way through traffic.
Just a thought I had of a possibility scheme.
That being said, the Seahawks from that scheme often asked the 3 DTs to run clog, and let the DEs and LBs fly around to make the plays. Which I don't see Hafley asking his DL to run clog, he seems to want them to be in penetration/attack mode as much as possible.
