Yes, very interesting, sounds like they're trying to keep him around for his STs value, which I wasn't aware he played much on STs.


Looks like he has about the 14th most ST snaps last year, which is a tad over 32% of the ST snaps. But of guys that play offense, he was #1 in ST snaps. Of the 13 guys that have more ST snaps, 11 were defensive guys and 2 were STs (P and LS).


Also interesting, they let a few of their top ST guys get away.

Which is impressive considering he wasn't even on the 53 man roster at first and so he missed a number of games, but played a high percentage of the ST snaps, also he's a FA right now... though teams don't seem to keep him long despite his talented ST plays for some reason.
