For those unaware, Pablo Torres, formerly of ESPN, has been doing to really aggressive journalism of late, going in-depth on some pretty big stories. His coverage of Bill Belicheck and what's going on behind the scene's between UNC and his 30something fiance is troubling at best.

But now he's unearthed a new gem.

In the wake of the Deshaun Watson contract, NFL owners apparently worked together to make sure these types of lucrative fully guaranteed deals didn't become the norm. Some high profile deals were handed out after Watson, including Kyler Murray, Russell Wilson, and famously Lamar Jackson.

The NFLPA filed a collusion claim in court against the NFL and Torres obtained a 61 page court document outlining the claim, which includes testimony from said QBs, Goodell, and more. He includes a link to the document if you want to view it for yourself.

Keep in mind the current CBA runs through the 2030 season, but I guarantee you the two sides have already started preliminary discussions. This will complicate the matter for sure.
