I think the court ruled that the NFL teams illegally worked together, but the players Union failed to prove any damages resulted from it. So the Union won, but they won a bunch of nothing.
Also, the Union is in serious trouble of their own, after they lost a major lawsuit and had to massive firings and their new leader seems to be more interested in doing what's best for him than the players. And so far, he doesn't seem to be too interested in pushing back on the NFL... and certainly not trying to put the NFL is their worst position.
I mean, maybe he's just slow playing it, but if this continues, then I think the Players Union needs to find a new leader, as this one doesn't seem to be working as hard as the last one.
