There were moments when he would try to scramble last year post groin, and you could just see him pull up. He was obviously hurting. To still have the season he did in 2024, given the injury situation (and the receiver drops, which I still say were as responsible for the offense's inability to get in any real rhythm at times last year as any other factor - there were multiple times when it looked like they were about to find something and bam, receiver drops what should have been an easy third down conversion, drive over, and rhythm broken), was quite frankly amazing.

One thing not to overlook is the promotion of Sean Mannion to QB coach in GB. Kirk Cousins has gone on record as saying that Mannion helped him immensely with footwork, which has been an obvious area needing improvement.

I really look for Love to have an MVP-caliber season. He may or may not win the award, but I expect his play to hit another level this year.
