I would expect those 7 players to be the guys who get targeted the majority of the time this season.
I am not sold on Wicks, I know that PFF says that he gets open more than anybody, but he just doesn't flash greatness like those other players I listed have, repeatedly. If he can get open and catch the ball when he is targeted every time, he might become something, but unless he can show that he can do that, he is another MVS to me.
The players I listed though, I think are tremendous football players who would be featured on any team in the league and be a difference maker on their own.
Love is really set up with a tremendous supporting cast in my opinion. It's all up to him to take advantage of it, and I think he knows that.
I think having Malik Willis pushing him is a great thing, and I expect Willis to push him hard by coming into camp with the offense down pat.
Malik Willis has prepared himself this offseason to be the starting QB of the Green Bay Packers this season.
He really truly is an NFL starting caliber QB. We are blessed to have him. He may end up playing a big role for the Packers this season even if he does not get on the field. I almost expect him to become a head coach either in college or the NFL some day. He takes his job seriously, and he is very good at it. You will all see that this preseason. I just hope they don't trade him away.
I got off on my tangent again, back to the point
The Packers offense is stacked
the Packers defense is stacked
They will be able to compete with anybody.
They will be able to maul the weak, and give the strong everything that they can handle.
I am really looking forward to this coming season.
This team seems to be equipped to be able to absorb the worst injury to the best player at any position and continue to win. As long as the best player at several positions are not lost for the season. But we all know, someone always is. But I think with the roster as it is now, can actually withstand losing a top player and still dominate, they are that talented.
