Gary, that's an excellent overview of the situation/dilemma. I'm not opposed at all to the crew getting together to discuss a penalty and from one official's perspective he might have seen it differently and the flag is picked up once they have time to discuss it. You're correct, it's very faced paced with split second decisions. My mind doesn't process what my eyes see that quickly so that's another reason why I'd never what to be in that position of making that quick decision. That's one reason why I hunt deer and not pheasants and quail. Ha
