Unlike Favre...Rodgers never once hinted of retirement.

I guess Gute thought Rodgers was near the end so, in the 1st round, he drafted Jordan Love instead of a player that would actually be immediately useful for the offense or defense.

After that, Rodgers goes on to win B2B MVP's while Love sits on the bench doing nothing to help those teams that ended up with home field for the playoffs a couple times. Imagine if Gute had drafted an actual playmaker?

I am disappointed that the Packers extended Gute and ML. I don't think either will get it done and Gute's malpractice with the OL makes me think that even more.

Jordan Love is a fine QB, but the situation adds ammo to the overwhelming national opinion that the Packers underachieved during the Favre/Rodgers run.
