HWA Message Board: Catching up (Part 2)

Continued from previous.

Mike shuffles the small pad of notes that he has.

(Mike Anderson): Well thank you very much for explaining that Logan, but moving on. AC James and Eddie K are in charge of Havoc, and you face the first one for your title. Have you been training alongside arranging this charity match?

(Logan): Oh aye. When I’ve no been emailing folk and taking phone calls I’ve been in the gym sweatin’ away!

(Mike Anderson): What do you make of your opponent? You’ve not been seeing eye to eye with either AC or his tag partner recently after all…

(Logan): Aye well, am lookin’ forward tae it. It’s gonnae be a big challenge and a huge match, but one I think am up to. AC said I should see this as a great opportunity and I really do it’s a great opportunity tae fight another HWA great, it’s a great opportunity tae make a name for myself and it’s an even greater opportunity tae wipe that stupid grin of his face.

Logan cocks his head with a smile of his own.

(Logan): And I dinnae think it’s the end of me and Eddies spat too. Am not sure how he expects me tae react, he’s wandering around wi Ally’s panties in his pocket and keeps trying tae wind me up wi it. But I’m in her pants every other day anyway!! Ha-ha!

(Mike Anderson): Do you think his actions are in part motivated by jealousy?

(Logan): Aye, that could definitely be a reason and is probably the most obvious one.

(Mike Anderson): Many men I know wouldn’t be so lenient with someone like Eddie, so it’s a surprise to see someone as, potentially volatile as you, be just that. Or are you playing the long game? You do have control of the next Havoc after all…

(Logan): I am playing the long game… I still plan on teaching him a lesson. But there’s nae guarantee that I’ll be in control of the next Havoc. But I am angered easily and that was shown when I destroyed his arty farty crap. Now all he does is sit about wi AC, b###hing about when he’s gonnae be champ… apart from his bar there’s nothing more I can take from him. Well except his pride, and that’s the plan!

(Mike Anderson): And what of the plan for Havoc? Bearing in mind that there’s always a chance of interference from the man we’ve just mentioned.

(Logan): It’s a ladder match; things’ll be on a knife edge. Anything could happen in a split-second, and I really dinnae think anyone could guess when the right moment to interfere would be.

Mike once more nods his head, taking in Logan’s words. He leaves a slight pause as Logan finishes, once more shuffling the pad of notes.

(Mike Anderson): Moving past this match, and onto future events. Bryan Deas has once again thrown down a challenge for your title. Are you considering accepting him again?

(Logan): No, I am not. He wants tae go after the tag titles with that steamer Maniac then good for him, but there’s no way am gonnae beat AC and then degrade my title by stepping in the same ring wi that waste of space….

The camera zooms in to focus on Logan, as he swivels on his chair, stabbing his finger straight at the camera, his voice and tone threatening.

(Logan): Deas’… Shut up!

He holds his pose for a brief moment, before settling himself back into the chair. The camera zooms out again, as Mike tilts his head towards it.

(Mike Anderson): An emphatic response there from Logan, no doubt about it.

He refocuses his attention back onto Logan.

(Mike Anderson): What about for next Havoc then? Any concrete ideas formed?

(Logan): I’ve no had a chance tae decide on anything really Mike. AC’s the priority. I’ve got a few ideas bouncing around, but I dinnae want to reveal anything ‘til after Havoc.

The scene fades out once more, before coming back in onto the Melbourne waterfront, Mike Anderson ready with the mic raised.
