Subject to the line of questioning by Gayle King, Stu-E Price has been forced to issue the following statement to the associated press outlets;

To whom it may concern, the decision to have Laney on the road with me and to have her at ringside was a decision born out of necessity. Due to events beyond my control involving her Mother's declining health, I was placed in a position where I could give her an education and experience like no other, so as a father I brought her with me.

As previously mentioned I didn't raise a daughter who was the type of girl to need a knight in shining armour to save her. I have explained to her through the years about the wrestling business and have educated her in where she should be, and how to avoid trouble.

From Miss Elizabeth to Kimberley Page to the Doctor of Style, Slick; we have studied the greats, and not so greats in preparation for this current chapter in our lives.

I would kindly ask each and every one of you, if you have a question about myself and my daughter, you don't use us as a stick to beat up Butch and Wisdom Parker, or any other person associated with the running of HWA. You all have my number, and I'm always happy to chat.

In closing, I appreciate your concern but trust me, it is simply misplaced. Hopefully one day soon you will all see this.
