The scene opens on a private jet that’s taking Maniac from Ohio back to Dallas, Texas for Fatality. He sits in a chair as he holds the picture Wolfy’s brother gave him looking at it with sadness in his eyes. Maniac sighs and with his free hand reaches to the cup holder and takes his glass of Jack and coke to take a drink. He puts the glass back and sits the picture on his lap, shutting his eyes for a few moments he takes a few deep breaths and reopens his eyes looking directly into the camera.
Maniac: Hello Hans, do you feel better after that little rant? I’m sorry, I should’ve said GUILT filled rant.
Maniac reaches over and grabs his glass, taking a drink and then continues.
Maniac: All I asked was if you were happy, the fact that you lashed out like you did shows your hand…mein Freund. You feel guilty because you brought Wolfy in, you’re the one that convinced him to sign a contract and be on the roster. And now look what happened, BUT with that being said I’ll repeat myself. I know this is all my fault, ok Hans? I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again…my fault. I brought that demon back with me and ever since it’s been causing all kinds of trouble and making many people’s lives miserable. But don’t you DARE sit there and say I’ve done nothing to fix this, you have no idea Hans. The places I’ve been, the shyt I’ve seen, Hans if you’ve experienced HALF of what I have then you would run home and NEVER come back. I’ll put it this way, these things make your time in Dark Horse Towers seem like child’s play.
Maniac finishes his drink and sits his glass back down.
Maniac: I understand why you feel guilty about Wolfy Hans but how was anyone supposed to know it’ll end like this? Oh yeah, according to you I orchestrated ALL this, because everyone is just a side character in a game I’m playing right Hans?
Maniac shakes his head.
Maniac: You’re deflecting Hans, the guilt from this and your past within the walls of Dark Horse Towers haunt you. That and the fact you don’t know how to let go of the past, I hit you with that fireball awhile ago and you’re STILL going on about it like it was yesterday. Whether you want to acknowledge it or not I’ve changed Hans, I’m doing my best to get rid of this demon while you and everyone else do nothing to help get rid of it but you all want to point your fingers at me saying I’m not doing anything about it? Other than Lunatik and Wolfy, God rest his soul, NONE of you would even attempt to help.
From off camera a flight stewardess brings Maniac another drink, he hands her the empty glass and takes the full one thanking her as he does. Maniac takes a few drinks and then continues.
Maniac: Jeremy, I should have known that was you stalking me. I knew someone was following me but nowadays it’s hard telling who it is but now I do. That, and I could see myself in a picture last time we saw you. I actually almost missed it but I went back and looked and it all clicked, now the only thing I don’t know is who your source is. I have a suspicion of who it is but I don’t have proof, but as for your challenge…
Maniac just stares for a moment before sitting back shaking his head as he takes a drink, looking down at the picture for a moment before looking back at the camera and continuing.
Maniac: No, I decline your challenge. I’m not continuing the cycle, this is the problem I keep repeating my mistakes and I gotta stop it. Besides, do you really think this is what Matt wanted for you? You’re Anakin Skywalker and Matt is Padmé, you’re going down a path he cant follow Jeremy. Look at yourself Jeremy, at what you’re becoming, does Matt want to come back to that? The man he loves, now a hate filled, vengeance seeking madman hell-bent on revenge no matter what the cost. Jeremy, wake up YOU’RE BECOMING ME!! For the love of God man think for a minute, like I just said to Hans I know this is all my fault and I’m trying to fix it but you guys are making it WAY more difficult than it needs to be.
Maniac takes a few more drinks.
Maniac: And to my old friend and tag team partner Bryan Deas, “The Ballistic One”. Welcome back for however long it is you decide to stay. Gold is it you seek Deas? Go be a pirate, I’m sure you’d do better at that. When are you going to pop up Deas? Probably when Jeremy’s back is turned so you can hit him with your bat, which by the way Steve called he wants his bat back so he can retire it along with his trench coat and face paint.
Maniac finishes the drink and sets the glass down.
Maniac: Stu, we’re going to bring down the house at Fatality and no matter what the outcome just know I respect the hell out of you and I look forward to standing across the ring from you and shaking your hand after it’s all said and done.
Maniac smiles and sits back, picking the picture back up continuing to look at it as the scene fades to black.
