Off camera

We open right after Roderick helped Maniac to his bus, Maniac has just said goodbye and closed the door to the bus before turning to limp farther in as he calls out to Mandy. Once he finally reaches to where the secret panel in the wall is he puts in the code and opens the door, revealing the spear of destiny, his time travel device, and other various weapons including the ones he took from the MIB agents. Maniac reaches in and takes the spear of destiny, instantly feeling it’s power and everything else that comes with it. Mandy comes out from the bedroom wearing nothing but a pink thong as she approaches Maniac with a smile on her face as she wraps her arms around him.

Mandy: I’m glad to see you’re ok now, I was watching Havoc on TV and the end of your match had me worried. That Tobias, he’s such a dikhead!

Maniac laughs as be nods in agreement.

Maniac: Yeah, tell me about it. I’ve had to deal with him three times now, first two times at Ringmaster and now. But if he thinks he’s going to get a shot at my title because of that cheap shot he’s in for a big surprise, and not one he'd enjoy! Like for example finding out where he is, then finding out where Bryan Deas is, and send him to hang out with Toby. That’d ruin ANYONE’S day!

Mandy: Aww poor baby, here let me make it better.

Before Maniac can respond Mandy is in front of him and on her knees, undoing his pants and taking them down. She teases him through his boxers for a minute before taking them down, taking him in her mouth and begins sucking. Maniac moans in pleasure as he puts one hand on Mandy’s head, gently moving it with her and she goes a little faster. After she does this for awhile longer Maniac picks her up, rips her thong off, bends her over the back of the couch and fuks her doggie style. As he does this, Maniac massages her breasts and Mandy lets out a loud moan of pleasure and the scene temporarily fades….

When we return we find both Maniac and Mandy sitting naked on the couch, they’re cuddling and watching a replay of Havoc when Maniac hears his phone vibrating. He gets up and checks it, seeing that there’s an interview with Hans immediately following the main event on the HWA YouTube channel but he also had a missed call from Higgins which shocked him. He hasn’t heard from him since he blew up the mansion and assumed he was dead, trapped under all the rubble. Before be could call Higgins back, he’s already calling Maniac’s phone once again.

Maniac: Hello? Higgins? Where are you? Are you ok?

Higgins: Yes sir, thanks for asking. I’ve been lying low for awhile to avoid questions from the press and the police, and if anyone does happen to ask I’m going to tell them I’ve been on vacation. I’m sure you’ll collaborate my story.

Maniac: Of course, how was Maui by the way?

Maniac chuckles and he can hear Higgins do the same on the other side of the line.u

Higgins: It was beautiful sir, almost didn’t want to come back.

They share a laugh for a few minutes before the laughter eventually dies down and Maniac clears his throat.

Maniac: I got to ask Higgins, how did you escape before the mansion came crumbling down?

Higgins clears his throat as he remembers back to that day…

 March 22, 2025

Higgins is in the kitchen washing dishes, other various cleaning duties, as well as making himself some lunch. After he’s gotten everything done and he’s eaten his lunch some time has passed, it’s gone from early afternoon to night time quickly and Higgins is just leaving the kitchen after doing a double check that everything is done when he hears a loud thump noise from somewhere upstairs. Higgins instinctively reaches for his cellphone but curses at himself when he realizes that he didn’t have it on him, he left it in his room by mistake this morning. Higgins backs up quietly towards the kitchen door all the while keeping his eyes up at the ceiling when suddenly the sound of stuff getting thrown around sends him darting out the door and down the hall. He’s just about to the landline phone to call the police when the sound of the demons voice freezes him where he stood.

(DreamMaster): It was me!

For a moment Higgins just stood there frozen in fear as he frantically looked around, waiting for DreamMaster to pop-up out of nowhere and get him. When he doesn’t appear Higgins shakes it off and makes a quite dash to the front door but stops just inches away from it when a dreadful thought entered his mind, what if someone else is in here? He couldn’t just leave them of they were, especially with that demon in the house. He thought about using the intercom system that can reach every room in the house but decided against it, he didn’t want the demon to know he was there if he didn’t already. He knew he needed his cellphone to try and get ahold of Maniac as he was leaving so that’s when he decided what to do, he quietly snuck up the stairs and into his room to get his cell phone but was disappointed to find that it wasn't there. He did a quick search of the entire room for it, occasionally looking up at the door to make sure DreamMaster wasn’t standing there.

Higgins: Thank God.

After a few more minutes of searching he finds his phone laying on his bed, it was partially covered up by his blanket but Higgins tosses that aside and grabs his phone then heads to the door. Once he’s back in the hallway he quietly and quickly makes his way back the way he came, heading down the stairs and back to the first floor and once there he starts heading to the intercom system to sound the alarm that’s on it, that way he could warn anyone that is in the house to get out and then quickly get out himself. Before he can make it to the intercom system however, the emergency beeper that Maniac gave him and told Higgins to always keep near so he can hear it if it goes starts beeping. Higgins knew what this beeper going off meant and quickly about-faces and makes a mad dash for the front door, not caring at this point about making noise. He's outside and almost to his car when he hears and feels the explosion, it nearly knocks him off his feet but Higgins manages to stay upright and get to his car. He looks back at where the mansion was and sees that it’s gone, the explosives that were strategically placed on the first floor and basement worked perfectly. It brought the mansion down so that it'd collapse on itself. Higgins unlocks and then gets in his car before pulling out and heading towards the gate that automatically starts opening once he’s near it, he then pulls out the gate and heads down the street as the scene fades.

We fade back to Maniac on his bus, standing there stunned as he had just heard the amazing tale that Higgins had told. He almost can’t find the words to respond but soon shakes it off.

Maniac: I’m glad you made it out in time Higgins, and don’t worry nobody else was in there but you and DreamMaster.

Higgins: That’s great news sir, so does that mean this nightmare is over?

Maniac hesitates to answer and Higgins quickly picks up on it.

Higgins: What is it sir? What’s wrong?

Maniac takes a few deep breaths and looks over at Wolfy who’s currently perched on the table watching TV. He’s got a big pile of fruits, vegetables, seeds, and nuts next to him on one side and on the other a big bowl of water. He’s got the TV remote in front of him and uses either his claw or beak to gently change the channel or adjust the volume when needed, this brings a smile to Maniac’s face and he finally relaxes.

Maniac: It’s complicated Higgins, where are you? Can we meet and talk?

The two continue to talk and make plans to meet up in New York as the scene fades.

On camera

The scene opens at Maniac’s favorite Taco Bell, the one that’s right by his house(well, it use to be anyway.) It didn’t take long for Maniac to get to New York from Portland, only one day and eighteen hours and once he did he met up with Higgins. Maniac invited him inside his bus and the two had a few drinks and caught up, where Maniac told Higgins everything that’s been going on. A few hours later Maniac sits here at Taco Bell alone, he’s eating a chili cheese burrito as he thinks back to what happened at Havoc and everything that’s happened afterwards. He takes the last bite,  chews it, swallows it, then takes a drink of Mountain Dew from his cup before wiping his mouth with a napkin.

Maniac: You know, I’ve had people come up to me and ask, blow me up on social media, wanting to know what my thoughts on the quick interview Hans gave right after the main event. They also want to know my thoughts on the recent AMA session…or whatever that was with Jeremy.

Maniac takes another drink then continues.

Maniac: What Hans said was somewhat true, I have done terrible things while being possessed by that demon and do deserve the beatings but what I don’t agree with is that my career has to end. You know what really bothers me about all this? Hans, I find it oh so hilarious AND ironic that you’re so quick to judge when your past isn’t so squeaky clean. You know exactly what I’m talking about Hans but that’s not what I want to talk about, what I want to talk about is afterwards. Where was everyone rallying to end your career? Where was that one vengeful person who decided it was up to them to take you out? Oh that’s right, that didn’t happen because all you had to do was hang your head and say you’re sorry and all is forgiven.

Maniac shakes his head as he finishes off the Mountain Dew in his cup and then gets up, throws his trash away, refills his cup, and waves goodbye to everyone as he leaves. Once outside he heads towards his bus but stops just a few feet from the door.

Maniac: Jeremy I didn’t actually get to see the live feed for myself but many fans have told me about it, and many have sent me screenshots and little video clips they took from it. Jesus Jeremy this has to stop, not for my sake but yours. Have you actually looked at yourself in the mirror? You’re not looking good, please Jeremy go outside and take a walk and breathe some fresh air. You’re letting your obsession ruin your life, you are just to blind by your rage to see it.

Maniac sighs and shakes his head.

Maniac: Look Jeremy, I know I set this shyt storm off when I came back at the reunion show and brought that damn demon with me and I’m sorry. I know I’ve terrorized and hurt you and a lot of other people, destroyed property, and worst off all I ended Matt’s career. I’m sorry Jeremy, I never wanted any of that but it wasn’t up to me. I know that doesn’t change anything but I really want you to know that I AM trying to get rid of this demon, now with that being said I’d probably have it already done if you wouldn’t keep interfering. No offense Jeremy but every time I come close to doing it there you are, popping up like you’re fuking David Blaine or something. I can’t do this with your constant interference and I really don’t want to do it this way but I can’t see us ending this peacefully so here it is, me versus you, one on one, loser leaves HWA…for the HWA Championship of course.

Maniac smirks.

Maniac: I got to sweeten the pot right? With that challenge thrown out, I know what everyone is thinking. William Draconis won the men’s battle royal and is next in line, well I’m asking him to hold off. And if this match goes down between Jeremy and I’ll get it put in writing that if Jeremy wins his first title defense will be against you William, and if I win then of course it’ll be you and I for the title. Please William, I need to do this and like I said, I didn't want to do it this way but there's no other way.

Maniac just stands there for a moment in silence, partially to let the challenge fully sink in and partially because he didn’t know what else to say. After a moment of silence he simply turns and finishes the journey to the door of his bus but before he goes in he turns back to the camera.

Maniac: This is what you’ve been waiting for Jeremy, balls in your court what’s it going to be? But know this Jeremy, there’s a BIG weight that you have to carry when you end someone’s career. Are you ready to carry that weight? I don’t think you are, nobody is…not even me.

Maniac pulls out his phone and calls the driver who opens the door of the bus for him, he steps inside and closes the door behind him not looking back once as the scene fades to black.

Off camera

The team made of various CIA and MIB agents waited patiently outside the Moda Center for Maniac to exit. After the end of Havoc it was another hour before Maniac’s bus rolled out of the parking garage and onto the street, they immediately started tailing him making sure that they stayed far enough away not to alert Maniac. They kept following him, stopping for gas when the bus stopped for gas but still making sure they didn’t get too close. Once they arrived in New York they continued to follow and watches as he meets with his butler and the two go inside the bus for a few hours. They discussed hitting the bus right there and taking everyone inside but decided against it since the bus was parked on a public street with lots of witnesses. After that they watched as the two said there goodbyes and then watched as Maniac went to Taco Bell, soon joined by the woman who they identified as Meredith. They also knew she was an camera operator for the HWA and was there to obviously film Maniac do some kind of promo. Some time passed before Maniac came back out, still talking to the camera as he made his way to his bus. Inside the flower delivery van they’re using as cover one CIA agent removes his headphones and breaks the silence.

CIA agent: Screw this, I say we take him and her now. There’s barely anyone on the street right now so we could easily grab them and take care of any witnesses or potential ones.

A different agent, this one MIB also takes off his headphones and clears his throat.

MIB agent: No, its still to risky. Besides, do you really want to disobey her orders? Or even that of director Banks himself?

The CIA agent thinks about what the MIB agent just said and after a moment shakes his head.

MIB agent: Good, for now we just observe until we get further instructions.

Suddenly the lights next to the phone flashes and everyone knows it could only be one of two people, everyone is dead quite as the MIB agent who was just talking answers the phone.

MIB agent: Hello? Nothing yet ma’am, he left Portland and came back to New York to meet up with his butler. After that he went to his favorite Taco Bell and then was met there by the camera woman where he cut a promo. He's currently back on his bus probably about to pull out.

The MIB agent listens, occasionally nodding his head.

MIB agent: Understood, we’ll report if anything happens.

The MIB agent hangs up and lets out a sigh of relief.

MIB agent: We have our orders, we are to keep observing until told otherwise.

The other agents all nod in agreement and prepare to keep following Maniac as the scene fades.
