The pic is from Dez.24.2011 and the seed pod is hanging over 7 months and its always green. It is a Y. recurvifolia x rostrata crossing. I send Tim a few seeds. Your trunking yuccas are very interesting for me, they must be very cold hardy. In my experience it is not easy to pollinate Y. gloriosa/recurvifolia with success. After 3 very cold winter the last years this winter has very mild temps. No snow and ice but al lot of rain. Thats very good for my Trachycarpus and the Yuccas too. This is one of my Y. recurvifolia, one of the best Yuccas for my weather conditions. |
