as i mentioned in my other email, there does seem to be a lot of possible hybrids growing in my local area. one suggestion would be chance pollination, then a desirable seedling was found,propagated and passed along through the years. some of the clumps look to have filamentosa genes, many "hybrids" have at least a short trunk. on a few the foliage is very BLUISH green. would love to know the lineage of all these plants! any ideas? |
