john thanks for the look, that Cylindropuntia spinosior really looks great, i think if me i would find some way to help support it, maybe some rebar going thru some driftwood. but maybe it's sturdier than i thought.

It would also to be great to see how the Agave parryi truncata makes it, i was greatly tempted to get one this fall at a local place that had some nice ones.
