Randy, I must live on the edge of where aloifolia's are bullet proof. This winter has done a real good lean job on almost all of the ones I own. I do have a clump of three that are offshoots of an 8 footer that are not leaning (yet). The 8 foot section was cut off last spring because it became top heavy and was leaning so severely, this winter with the snow load would have done it in I'm sure. I re-planted the section in another spot and propped it up with an 8 foot piece of 1 x 2 lumber. So far, so good. The original plant came from ebay about 10 years ago from I think Don. |
