Hello Paul, What we need is a resident in the south western part of the USA, who would like to hike out into the habitat, collecting pollen only from exceptionally fine specimens in high altitude areas :-) Did you make any hybrids you self? If so, I would very much like to know which crosses and when, so I can have the hybrid listed on my webpage. I find it interesting, that those whom is breeding Yucca hybrid, almost all are from continental Europe. There are to my knowledge no one in the British Isles which have made any and there are only a very few from America (Robert Pitman, Idaho, Tim Behan, Massachusetts, and Raymond Sharon from Kansas). If my Yucca angustissima ssp. kanabensis x (filamentosa x arkansana) has any pollen, I would gladly collect some for you to experiment with. Have a nice day Benny |
