We have a choice to only two and Satellite is horrible. Verizon mifi/wireless is the other and what we have. A good thing about it is there are towers all over the USA and we take our hotspot-jetpack with us and can get online in some of the most remote places. It's about the size of a pack of cigarettes. When out in the boondocks no hookup needed to get online as it has a battery as do the LP PCs. But with a converter which we have, we can plug into the cigarette lighter or whatever a particular RV has for it, and draw from the large deepcell house battery. We take it wherever we go including FL for the winter. You can't do that with cable PC.
Our TV is through DirecTV Sat' service and our cell phones are with Consumer Cellular. Our home phone (landline) is with Verizon.
We take the Sat' black box with us and a portable Sat' dish when we go off for the winter. This Class-A has a Sat dish on the roof we may be able to use.
