*The scene opens at John F. Kennedy International Airport, people are hurriedly moving about trying to make their flight or coming off of one. As the camera pans we see Maniac sitting near a gate, he's wearing a pair of green cargo pants, a red shirt, and black sneakers. He has earphones in his ears and is obviously jamming out when he notices the camera. Maniac smiles and removes the earphones.*
Maniac: Man what a promo Matt! I mean wow, what a stinger you delivered there I don't know how I'm ever going to recover from that one.
*Maniac drops the smile.*
Maniac: Games Matt? You think this is a game? Let me ask you, when I beat you down in San Francisco and split your skull open like a melon was that a game? When we were fighting in Chicago and I tried to run you and your pathetic friends over with my bus, was that a game? Even before that when I splattered that bitch Sarah Callahan into the cement with a Fatality, was that a game Matt? Since you can't figure it out let me fill you in, no this isn't a game. You and the other pups are the ones playing games, and soon you're going to learn the consequences of not taking this seriously. You know, I find it quite funny you believe I couldn't "lace the boots" of the people I mentioned because I beat them all. Except for Thane Givens that is we unfortunately never meet in the ring, and that's only the ones I mentioned.
*Maniac turns off his iPod and puts it away.*
Maniac: So let me get something straight here, if it wasn't for YOU and the others I wouldn't have a job? Wow Matt, and people think I'M conceited. That's a bold statement there kid, and I know for a fact that I'm not the only veteran who doesn't agree with you. But you go ahead kid keep making your corny jokes, keep acting like I'm playing some sort of game, keep on with that self-entitlement because at Havoc it's all going to come crashing down around you. Both you and Jeremy are going to find out the hard way that neither Deas nor I am playing, that we are out to not only hurt you but END your pathetic careers. You know though Matt you are right about one thing, I DO need to try new things. Sometimes in my "obsession" I find myself trapped in my daily routines, so thank you Matt it was YOU who has freed me from myself, it was YOU who inspired me to get out there and meet the people...and it was YOU who brought this on them.
*Maniac is suddenly interrupted by the sound of an announcement over the P.A. system.*
"Flight 117 to Dublin, Ireland is now boarding. "
Maniac: That's me, I gotta run. Nice catching up with you Matt, I'll tell the family you said hi.
*Maniac gets up from his seat, taking his iPod back out of his pocket and turning it back on he puts his head phones back into his ears and as he walks away you can hear him whistling the song “Danny Boy” by Frederick Weatherly as the scene fades to black.*
