The Forest High School Band was one of 12 class 3A schools selected to participate in the State Class 3A Marching Championships. They placed 6th overall. This was an upward movement from their placement of about 4 levels. They missed 5th place by .4 of a point. This year's champion was Columbia which is one of the largest schools in 3A. Last year's champion, Booneville, finished second this time around. This is really quite a step forward for the Bearcat Marching Band. Congratulations to Mr. Davis, Mr. Bishop, and the members of the band. Keep up the good work.
