i just think that guys are going to play how they play. Guys that are making plays all the time on college are probably going to continue to make plays. though there are those who drop off after college and dont pan out in the pro's, and there are those who were overlooked and turned out to be all pro players.
the testing numbers are just a measurement of if you are able to or not. the players get caught up in who is the fastest at this drill or that drill thinking it will have an impact, when it has nothing to do with playing football at all. it has a whole lot to do with what your agent is going to get, though, and thats for sure
there are guys whpo are football players.. and there are guys who are athletes who test well
those are not the same things
all you can really learn from the testing is if the guy has NFL athleticism or not
not whether it is elite athleticism,
just if he is athletic enough to compete on the field
if a WR runs 4.8 or more. not good enough
if a WR runs 4.7 or less, good enough
now much faster than 4.7 is irrelevant except to the player agent looking to get paid
Nick Nash agent isn't out there hyping like some of the WR agents obviously are
