That is what I was thinking, protecting the football and limiting mistakes, letting the other guys do their jobs, and the team will carry them all to victory more often than not. The QB does not have to be the savior of the team unless there is a minute to go and they need a TD and the end zone is 90 yards away. Even then, they need their teammates. If a QB just takes what the defense gives them, and plays smart, this team will win more often than not.
