I think he did most of what he did through smoke and mirrors by LaFleur (and also by playing against some really poor teams), and once teams got more than a game or two worth of film on him, all those claiming he's better than Love, etc., would be eating those words.

Decent enough backup, but that's all. Zero chance the team goes anywhere if he were the full time starter.
