Re: If Jordan Love were to get a season ending injury, would Malik Willis lead them to the playoffs?
There was no where near enough shown to say he is great, but there was to say he could develop into more than a two game wonder. As Gary pointed out the game plan was put in specific to what he does well. He showed well against a highly ranked D in Houston team, and he did display some very nice passes and a calmness to drive the team down the field for what should have been two game winning FGs. Also, as Yoop pointed out I am really looking forward to seeing what a full offseason and more playing time during preseason games shows us. I do think that is he shows more growth in his talents he will get a lot of interest from other teams next year. Right now I think he can and would keep the team on track if he needed to for a few games to keep fans from freaking out like in the past where we had to pray when AR was out against the lowly Browns! He just hasn’t had the opportunity to show full command of the full offensive package without going run heavy.
