I thought this was a 4-3 defense now? If so, they can't both play MLB... or are the LB all considered ILB with the way this unit plays? I've also heard the phrase "off-ball linebacker" (to differentiate between them and LB playing edge rusher, I suppose)... Perhaps someone more knowledgeable than I could bring some explanation??

But whatever you call them, you're absolutely right. I think we can add Simmons to that possibility too - no expectations, but the potential is there. Could end up in the conversation for strongest position group on the team.
