Obviously that would be unfair, as we know about 2025 injuries and results and don't know about 2026 health...
But I'm just thinking comparing the WRs, OL and DL would be extremely interesting...
Our WRs clearly have less depth, which might be major trouble if they get injuries (and too many of them are known for getting injured)... but if they're able to stay healthy, they might have more clear and defined roles to focus in on.
OL, I think you can easily argue the Packers OL talent dropped, losing Walker and Jenkins, but they both had poor 2025 seasons... and former NFL players were calling the Packers out, about their line calls being wrong based on what the defense showed them. Packers supposedly let the Center and QB work that out, and that seemed to get fixed as soon as Jenkins got injured and Rhyan went to Center. So while 2026 OL might have less talent on paper, they might be able to gel together better as they might be playing in better positions for them... as supposedly Morgan is naturally more of an OT than an OG, Rhyan seemed to work better at C than OG... and even before his draft, I thought Belton was a starting OG, and wasn't sure if his pass protection could CONSTANTLY be at a starting OT level (yes, Belton flashes great pass protection at times, that's not the problem, the inconsistency of it is the problem). But if the 2026 OL can stay healthy, they might be clearly better than 2025, despite having less on paper talent.
Heck, the 2026 OL might just be better if Banks and Tom can stay fully healthy the entire season... because their best play can be different makers... and yes Banks had a few great games in there in between injuries, but looking at his injury history, he gets injured every season. But I think if Banks ever stayed fully healthy, we'd be talking about him possibly better than Sitton and Lang.... but again, I don't expect it, as Banks has never stayed healthy... but his peak potential is a lot higher than he showed us last year.
DL: Of course a lot depends on Parson's health and system changes or usages... but the 2026 with Hargraves and NT Chris McClellan (on paper) automatically make 2026's potential look a HELL lot better! Though losing Gary and Engabare hurt at DE... but assuming Parson is back, being more well rounded with a stud DE and multiple good DTs is more helpful for schemes and coaching tricks than just being amazing deep on the edges but weak up the middle. Opponents hopefully won't simply be able to target running wherever they want nearly as much.
QB: And with Love's injury history, I think we also have to factor in the backup QB role... though I don't think we can fairly measure it, as haven't seen developed Willis on a different team yet, and we haven't seen a recent Taylor with a team that was decent at both OL and WRs IN YEARS... so hard to say what they really have and comparing them.... though I do agree with0
