Awesome update. Your growing skills are 'top notch'. So many of those hybrids have great potential. Your 'Yucca ???' sure seems to look like a juvenile Yucca aloifolia but with narrower leaves. Aloifolia has serrated leaves too. My guess would be angustissima x aloifolia. Who created the seeds you grew? Your seedlings are much larger this year so should be stronger going into winter (hopefully hardier). I like hearing the variations between seedlings of the same hybrid cross such as gloriosa 'Tennessee' X filamentosa x rostrata. Most of my seedlings have a serrated leaf edge so the entire edges will likely look different and may be hardier. The gloriosa 'Tennessee' survived the past two bold winters and is one of the hardiest gloriosas in my garden. I lost several gloriosa forms due to winter cold. |
