will try to get some pics of one with a tall solitary trunk. Flowers are late which is gloriosaesque. Flowers are also much larger than aloifolia or any other yucca I grow. Tip of leaf is very sharp also. Leaves are always contorted from young plants to very mature. Hardiness is apparently much better than aloifolia. Since gloriosa and recurvifolia are probably hybid in origin it is probably not easy to draw a line as to species on some cultivars. I would suggest that anyone who wants to call this distinctive plant something else they are welcome to name it as they see fit. |
