Heartfelt condolences to Ted's family. He was a great inspiration to all who got to know him. Each time I saw him, he would remind me of a game we pitched against each other in the 1994 state tournament. He wasn't pitching or feeling the best and called his daughter over to the fence to give him some blood pressure medication. Immediately after taking it, he ran off several ringers in a row. As the game ended, I accused him of taking "ringer" pills and asked if I could have some to finish out the tournament! He remembered every detail of that game 20 years later. Ted was an amazing person and will be missed.
