I will dearly miss Ted Sauer - Spoke to him back in October and he was looking forward to feeling better and getting back to the pits. He gave horseshoe pitching everything he had, every time he pitched. Along the way he was encouraging to his opponent's but fiercely competitive. In my research on Kentucky Horseshoe pitching I have found articles mentioning Ted's name dating back into the 1940's - so that is a pitching career that spans 75+ years!!! You will be missed Ted.
