Lifestyles have changed since we were in our prime. At my 50th reunion of my high school graduating class, the majority of women had large families, five and six children. After my second child, I was done. It was all I could handle and I've never had any regrets. For all intents and purposes, I had been an only child and never felt the need for a sibling. By the time my half-sisters came along, I already had my foot half-way out the door so the sisterly bonds that they have among themselves never got a chance to form. Today, we have a cordial relationship but not as close as we might have had.
The thing is...the people in the news today do not feel the same limitations. The overflowing populations that contribute to our illegal entries and the proliferation of what were once minority groups here and abroad are changing what once was the majority and accustomed lifestyle.
