I sent Joyce a message earlier expressing my condolences and letting her know that I had contacted as many friends on my FB list as I could and I knew that tears were being shed from as far away as California (Ellen Doty) to Pennsylvania (David Smith). He was an inspiration to us all. Some years ago when I was State Supervisor of Music, he suggested that I call him Hal. I told him then that I appreciated that but he would always be Mr. Polk or Mr. P to me! RIP, Mr. P! A legend you were and a legend you will always be!
