Robert and Nancy's comments are "spot" on. Like all of you, I was so fortunate to have a mentor, friend who taught me what it takes to achieve "excellence". Throughout my military career, at multiple levels of command or staff that I was res0ponsible, our motto was "Toward Excellence". I learned from Mr. P that it took vision, goals, objectives but most important discipline, and caring for your young soldiers and their families as if they were your own. Thank you Mr and Mrs P.
