I can understand Jenkins point. He feels disrespected. He has been a stalwart at guard for the Packers for 6 years. He has been consistently one of the top guards in the league. Now, when the team needs a center, and he has the ability to play center at a high level and they ask him to switch positions, after 6 years of great performance at guard, then to seem to indicate that they just want him for these next two years and plan on moving on from him after that. He is 29, so I can understand the Packers position.

Maybe he doesn't want to play center. Maybe it's because of the money. Where he thinks if he plays center the next two years and then when he is 31 and trying to get his next contract, it won't be as much as he hopes.
